The Role:

As the Estimator, you will leverage your engineering background to manage tenders, liaise with clients, and oversee follow-up work. Your technical knowledge and attention to detail will be key to ensuring project success from the initial bidding stage through to execution.

This is an excellent opportunity to transition into an Estimator role with a long-standing Australian company specialising in foundational and earthmoving solutions. Renowned for delivering a wide range of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, this organisation is seeking a motivated professional to oversee their estimation processes and contribute to their continued success.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit detailed tenders for piling and earthmoving projects.
  • Use your engineering expertise to provide accurate cost estimations.
  • Liaise with clients, addressing queries and building strong working relationships.
  • Conduct project follow-ups to ensure smooth communication and progression.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to support project planning and delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction cost planning, tendering or project delivery working on diverse tenders/projects across Infrastructure.
  • Ability to lead a tender and work on multiple tenders concurrently
  • Experience with Expert Estimation software
