We are experiencing an exciting time of growth in the QLD Water Utilities team and are looking for like-minded Electrical Engineers to join our team. We welcome part-time and full-time applications for the following opportunities:

  • Electrical Engineer
  • Senior Electrical Engineer
  • Principal Electrical Engineer

Your Role: 

  • Collaborate with a national multi-disciplinary team on iconic projects.
  • Liaise with clients and vendors.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Conduct field and desktop investigations of electrical infrastructure.
  • Prepare detailed documentation for procurement and project delivery.
  • Apply your technical and commercial acumen for successful project outcomes.
  • Utilize your specialist safety knowledge in areas like protection, arc flash, and hazardous areas.

About You:

  • Proven experience in the Water, Mining, Industrial, or Energy sectors.
  • Background in engineering consultancy or design roles.
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards it; RPEQ certification is a plus.
  • Expertise in developing standards and designing electrical infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to consult effectively with clients.
