The Role:
Due to significant growth and success, our client are seeking an experienced document controller to join their construction team located centrally in Perth. This is a Monday – Friday role, working 38 hours per week and for the right person there is an opportunity to join the team as a permanent employee.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate all document control activities in accordance with project specific procedures
- Quality checking of documents prior to submission (revision, formatting etc.)
- Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders using appropriate matrices and tracking procedures
- Maintain updated records of all approved project documents and their distribution
- Issuing of transmittals
- Assist with preparation and formatting of project reports, meeting minutes and deliverables as required
- Manage the flow of documentation within the PMO and to and from external companies.
- Create or edit document templates for future use
- Ensure handover of information and archiving of project documentation as appropriate at project stage close-out.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience as a Document Controller
- Previous experience with project management and exposure to project controls
- Proficient in MS Office
- Acconex – Highly advantageous
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask and a high attention to detail
- Experience in creating content on SharePoint/Office 365
- Knowledge of SharePoints version control
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol
- Available for an immediate start
