Customer Support Officer

  • Permanent full-time role available (7.25 hr days)
  • Office based role in Woonona with onsite parking

About the role:

In this role, you will provide valuable and productive administration and customer service support to the Coal Services Health business unit. You will be respectful towards customers and have a strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality guidelines to be able to accurately respond to queries and report requests.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage incoming calls via a call queue
  • Reception duties including being the first point of contact for customers and/or clients
  • Address any incoming emails
  • Maintaining accurate information and file management
  • Providing general administrative support


About you:

Your education, experience and skills will include:

  • HSC or TAFE equivalent
  • Cert III in Business Administration (desirable)
  • Previous administration experience in a medical practice or scheduling and appointment allocation (desirable)
  • Dedicated team player with a focus on customer service excellence
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Friendly and professional outlook combined with a strong work ethic
  • Discretion and the ability to keep information confidential
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated behaviours aligned to our company values and culture – we care, we work together, we make a difference
