Atom Resources have partnered with a leading developer/builder in Brisbane’s commercial construction sector, known for low staff turnover, high-team retention, quality builds, and delivering projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million. Due to new projects landing, they are now looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team. 

Your New Role
As a Contracts Administrator at an intermediate to senior level, you will be pivotal in managing contract administration for commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts.
  • Managing subcontracts and ensuring compliance with all legal and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinating with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Handling cost control, variations, and progress claims.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks while ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld.

You will work on a range of projects, with a strong focus on those valued at $20 million and above, providing essential support from project inception through to completion.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Administrator in the commercial construction industry, preferably with exposure to projects valued at $20 million or more.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high standard of work.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing project risks.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, law, or a related field.
