About You

You are based on the Sunshine Coast and have been there, seen it, done it, and enjoy showing others how to do it.

Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience of Earthworks (bulk and detailed), Pavements, Drainage, Structures, and Services including water & electrical gained while working on Greenfield and live traffic sites;
Be able to read and understand project budgets, specifications, and all relevant project plans including project health, safety, environmental, and quality plans;
Can coordinate and evaluate contractor and direct employee performance with the involvement of supervisors and leading hands;
Have a strong track record of developing and mentoring direct reports and peers through a firm but fair management style;
The knowledge and experience to work with the project management team to develop and maintain project program look ahead and schedule future activities that will complete the project works on time;
The ability and confidence to advise the senior management team of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties and assist in resolving any issues as required;
A strong track record of establishing cooperative working relationships with subcontractors, client representatives, and other members of the workforce (stakeholder relations/management);
Have a thorough understanding of Occupational Health and Safety issues and responsibilities including the ability to comply with the relevant Act and Regulations;
Be knowledgeable in the field of Human Resources and Industrial Relations;
Possess a Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or equivalent experience.
