ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Manager to work along our skilled Projects Delivery Team with work based across the Pilbara FIFO from Perth. Our scope of works are currently Earthworks NPI & Civil Construction with multiple projects commencing imminently and others in the pipeline.
The initial project would require Strong Earthworks experience along with a confident leader for our team who is well versed in liaising with EPCM on site. You would commence with the new Project based on a RTIO site, however we have multiple projects on the go, and in the pipeline for approval.
Our Project Values are ranging from $5m-$50m, working mostly on Tier 1 Iron Ore Mine Sites. This role is an initial Permanent Specified Task for duration of the Project. 
This is a Western Australian based Project and due to a number of Operational reasons; we are only considering those already situated in WA (Perth Metro & Surrounds).
DUTIES:

  • Reporting to our experienced Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day managing of the Construction team on-site
  • Liaising with the Project Engineer, obtaining technical advice to share with relevant personnel to overcome any obstacles
  • Continuous reporting and monitoring to ensure the Projects are on schedule and works are continuously progressing
  • Complete construction HR objectives with involvement in recruitment, selection, training & mentoring team members, as well as involvement in disciplinary management
  • Utilising your team management skills to encourage success and stages of works are undertaken in a timely and safe manner
  • Liaising with the Client and personnel on site ensuring all stakeholders are up to date with progress
  • Ensuring Health & Safety meetings and standards are upheld at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Trade Qualifications in Construction/Carpentry, Diploma in Project Management, Degree qualified (adv)
  • 10 years experience in the building and civil construction industry (on mine-sites) with a solid understanding of Earthworks
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • MS Suite experience (Microsoft Excel & Project)
  • Clear and professional communication and reporting skills
  • Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26
  • White Card
  • RTIO Inductions (Advantage)
