About the Job:

We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter, for an ongoing temporary to permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various carpentry tasks involved in the maintenance, repair, and improvements, whilst possessing strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform carpentry repairs and maintenance tasks as required, including but not limited to:
  • Repairing doors, windows, and furniture
  • Installing and repairing cabinetry
  • Constructing and repairing wooden structures
  • Assist in the planning and execution of renovation and improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members and contractors as needed

Requirements

  • Trade Certificate and proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a similar accommodation or construction environment
  • Proficiency in various carpentry techniques and tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
