Boilermaker Apprenticeship

Do you have an interest in welding and working with metals in structural engineering?  If you enjoy working with your hands, have an eye for detail, and can visualise how an object should look from a drawing, an apprenticeship in metal fabrication may be for you!

Role Overview

  • Make and repair various fabricated metal products.
  • Perform gas cutting and welding tasks.
  • Utilize electric arc welding techniques.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Identify faults in metal products.
  • Carry out repairs on fabricated metal items.
