Greenfield Burton Mine Complex
BUMA Australia have been awarded the contract to develop and mine several satellite pits that are near the old Burton Mine Complex. Coal extracted at these satellite pits will be transported and processed through the Burton CHPP and railed from the onsite Train Load Out facility. Burton coal is world renowned for its high-quality coking coal and is well sought after in the global export markets.
About the Role:
We are seeking full time permanent Boilermakers to join our maintenance team. As a Boilermaker at Burton, you will enjoy a diverse range of work both in the field and workshop including repairing, modifying and refurbishing surface mining equipment.
About You:
Our ideal candidates will have the following:
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Experience with heavy duty fabrication, welding, inspections and repairs
- Working at heights and confined spaces tickets desirable
- Current Standard 11 or willingness to obtain
