The Position
In this newly created role, working with the Sales and Product Development Manager Oceania as the Assistant Sales and Product Development Manager Oceania you will play a crucial role in managing and developing seed sales through distributors in Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key distributors.
- Assisting in product development and introducing new genetics to the Oceania market.
- Conducting market research and analysing competitor data.
- Proposing and implementing sales and marketing actions.
- Preparing monthly reports.
The Person
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for the seed industry, with a relevant tertiary qualification in horticulture or agriculture, ideally with a background in sales and product development.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and self-motivation, along with a willingness to travel extensively within Oceania and potentially further afield. Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential, as is a willingness to adapt and embrace new ideas. We are looking for someone who is respectful, patient, and who adheres to company policies and ethical standards.
