Asphalt Labourer/Multiskilled Operator

• Asphalt Labouring & Machine Operating
• Pay Rate: $42-$47p/h Penalties

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality asphalt services in Melbourne. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering top-notch results.

What You Will Be Doing

• Asphalt Paving: Prepare and lay asphalt, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Machine Operation: Operate a range of machinery, including bobcats, smooth drum rollers, multi-wheel rollers, and, ideally, profilers and pavers.
• Site Preparation: Assist with site preparation tasks, such as excavation, grading, and compaction.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet project goals.

What You Will Need

• ***Experience working with Asphalt is a MUST!***
• White Card: Valid White Card
• Versatility: Ability to operate various machinery and perform multiple tasks related to asphalt work.
• Bobcat Operation: Experience operating bobcats.
• Roller Operation: Experience with smooth drum rollers and multi-wheel rollers.
• Licenses: HR (Heavy Rigid) or HC (Heavy Combination) license is advantageous.
• Specialized Equipment: Experience with profilers and pavers is highly desirable.
