The team atPenske Australiahave a rare opportunity for a2nd Year Apprentice Diesel Mechanicto join the experienced and dedicated team at ourDarwinbranch.

In this role you will be mentored through the last of your apprenticeship while carrying out servicing work in our on-highway side of the business. This is a varied position that involves a high level of commitment to safety, customer service and ability to represent Penske as a technical specialist

About You:

When you’re accepted into the Penske Apprenticeship Program, you will work under the guidance and mentorship of our passionate and talented technicians and receive formal internal and external training.

  • Have completed your 1st, or 2nd Year, and studying a Certificate III inHeavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
  • Have a mechanical aptitude and take pride in completing work to a high standard
  • Have a passion for vehicles, engines or the automotive industry demonstrated through previous work experience and/or hobbies and interests.
  • Have a strong desire to learn and develop a range of new skills associated with your chosen trade.
  • Be motivated to achieve individual and team goals and objectives by actively contributing to the work on hand.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety.
  • Offer strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
